Huron Street in Takapuna will be upgraded to improve the street environment and stormwater management - to reduce the risk of flooding.
This is a collaborative project with Auckland Council’s Healthy Waters.
Our work on Huron Street has been paused until Auckland Council’s Healthy Waters completes its business case for stormwater network improvements across Takapuna town centre.
Healthy Waters are making good progress on its business case. We expect things to progress in 2026-27. A design proposal for Huron Street will be shared with the community before then.
