The Karanga Plaza Harbour Pool project is part of the Mayor’s vision to open up the waterfront for Aucklanders, and continues Eke Panuku’s long-standing work in the area. Designed with swimmers of all ages in mind, the pool provides a unique waterfront experience with the lively Wynyard Quarter as its backdrop. Whether you’re keen for an early morning swim, a cool dip during a hot afternoon, or a relaxing splash with friends and family, the harbour pool is set to become a must-visit spot this summer.

The pool’s design combines functionality with sustainability, incorporating safe swimming zones, swimming lanes, a jump platform and facilities that ensure a comfortable visit for everyone. Visitors can also enjoy nearby food vendors, waterfront seating, and the vibrant energy of Karanga Plaza—making it the perfect day out.

Supervision with Auckland Council lifeguards will occur over the peak season and standard operating hours of 10am – 6pm.
