An exciting place to play in Manukau ready for the holidays

Rope play equipment, an urban wave track and bump track are now open for everyone to enjoying, joining the already completed skatepark, kiosk, nature play area and basketball court.

An additional half basketball court, being installed due to popular demand, is having final touches completed and will be open for hooping soon.

The final addition will be the crown jewel of the new park, a 12.9 metre three level play tower, the tallest in Auckland, open in June 2023.

Manukau is the youngest part of Tāmaki Makaurau and the new playground is designed to meet the needs of this community. The flow bowl and bump track are specifically designed to reflect the confidence level on bikes of the young people in the area. It will exist alongside the existing skate park, which is popular with more confident users.

The investment is part of our program to transform Manukau to the thriving heart of the south.
